Warm greetings from your fellow Anthonian!
This is a very special year in the history of St. Anthony's College - our 50th anniversary since our founding in 1958! Our theme "SAC @ 50: Remembering, Thanking, and Moving On" embodies the ethos of the celebration. We have come a long way and we have every reason to celebrate. It is in the spirit of nostalgia and gratitude that we are celebrating the golden jubilee of our Alma Mater. As alumni, we take this occasion to refresh our awareness and practice of the core values and attributes that St. Anthony's College has instilled in us.
Along with the remembering and thanking comes our resolve to exert extra effort to connect, integrate and collaborate with our Alma Mater in her thrusts of spirituality, academic excellence and community-oriented service. And we are given a challenge: to have a stronger and active SAC Alumni Association, Inc. (SACAAI); be it in the batch level, program level, and department level! Let us join the celebration. Come back to SAC - renew ties of friendship with our classmates and school mates - strengthen our bonds with the school. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the St. Anthony's College community - students, teaching personnel, non-teaching personnel, administrators, parents, alumni, benefactors, and friends. THANK YOU for the support in making the SAC Golden Jubilee Celebration a successful and meaningful one. God bless you and your families through the intercession of our patron saint, Anthony of Padua.
