Background of the Contest

St. Anthony’s College Golden Jubilee is an occasion that plays an important role in the development of the College in terms of its operations and strategic direction involving all members of the school community: the students, administrators, teaching and non-teaching personnel, alumni and benefactors of the College.

In celebrating such an important event, SAC becomes a meeting place of thousands of graduates to renew acquaintances, rekindle friendship and regenerate vigor of the past for renewed and better future.

The SAC Golden Jubilee is a year-long celebration that started in December 2007 and will culminate in December 2008. The celebration is envisioned to leave the most memorable and lasting imprint in the minds and hearts of every Anthonian, in the College itself, the province and desirably, the region, nation and in countries where there are SAC Alumni.

The members of the Golden Jubilee Executive Committee are one in their decision to give honor and recognition to fifty (50) Anthonian Graduates who have excelled in their respective areas of endeavor and who manifest profound commitment to the development of the youth and whole citizenry through exemplary competence, remarkable dedication to their work and significant contribution to local and national development.
